Water storage tank 250 gallon

This water storage tank will store up to 250 gallons.

It comes in blue,granite or a natural white color. The white tank is always shipped unless you call or e-mail and tell me you want the blue or granite color which cost 50.00 more. 435-851-0777 or splayton@sisna.com.

It is made from a polyethylene food grade plastic that is ideal for water storage. It will not crack as long as it is never allowed to freeze. It is best to keep these tanks inside a building or garage so they don't freeze. These tanks can used outdoors in warmer climates such as California and Florida.

It has a 12 sided shape with a 14 pounds per gallon strength.

The two indentations on the tank are for strapping tape to secure it to a wall.

The dimensions are 30" wide x 86" tall. This tank is made to stand upright in a corner of a garage or in any space that will hold it. This tank has two brass ball valves. One about 3 feet up from the bottom for getting water and one at the bottom that can be hooked up to a hose for draining. It also has a screw on lid at the top for filling the tank.

It is advised that you use a brand new hose for filling and draining the tank so it is always clean and eliminates the fear of bacteria getting into the water supply.

If you treat the water in the tank with 2 and 1/4 bottles of ION water treatment. The water in the tank will stay good for 5 years. ION can be purchased on this website. Go to the home page on the left hand side and click on ION water treatment.

This tank eliminates the need for 55 gallon water barrels or other smaller containers.

This tank will hold enough water for two people for a 4 month emergency supply of water.

This tank weighs 70 pounds.

The shipping on this water tank is estimated at about 250.00 for the first one. If you order more than one tank at a time the shipping only goes up about 50.00 extra for the second tank because they can be shipped on the same pallet. If you have a friend, or relative that wants one it cuts the shipping charges down by about half.

All tanks are shipped from Salt Lake City, Utah. They are shipped by a trucking company. You will be notified about the time of delivery so you can be there to get the tank. Allow 2 weeks for delivery.
